the game itself is very enjoyable. easy to pick up and play and the rampant increase of enemys provided a decent challenge without over running them with difficulty which is pretty hard to do in a game like this. and of course there can always be improvements.
1. adding skills to the enemies are fine but why not allow the player skills as well? if you think about a game like diablo 2 with the rouge class there is a huge array of skills for archery. exploding, fire, freeze, multi, homing, pierce, ect. allowing the archer to get better through skills rather then just bows would help.
2. the damage system is a bit vague. double and triple for bow and arrow? does this mean they multiply on eachother so they do 6? or do they add and do five? now while its not to important at the beggining its gets much more so when you have double (stat increasing) triple and quintuple. this can do 10 or it can do 30 based on the actual system of adding. i think doing like dungeons and dragons and saying like +5 is a better way to go.
3. if you could add a bit more variety to the character and possible customization options it would make the game have more replay value. as it is once you beat it its pretty much done. like maybe a warroir who can be built like a tank or very quick so hes never hit. that kinda thing.
thats about all i can think of atm and im not sure if you will actually get to it. ill be happy to help if your interested in more ideas
this game is great i love games like this im not to sure why but they are fun.
however after i did the first level with Frankenstein every time i entered a new area the panda that was in the chair stayed floating on screen. it didnt get in the way of gameplay but got annoying when trying to find item i couldnt see were there.
great game though
lots of customizable options when building a character combined with the added addition specialized skills for each class makes this game very enjoyable. the only complaint i can think of is that some of the achievements are excruciating difficult to actually get other then that great job. although the achievements are supposed to be hard so really there is nothing.
p.s. if anyone can help me get past the doctor in zone 7 that would be great lol
I know that remixes are supposed to be reimaginings of the original songs, but you managed to carve out your own path using the melodies I love. Amazing job and I'm still happy you even considered my request thank you.
Anyway this remix pays tribute without rehashing it and the continued changed bass and new instruments for the melodies keeps even reused ones from feeling old.
P.s. I love the new sped up tempo I thought the original was a little slow ^-^
I'm so glad you liked it; and thank you for sending me the request :D
i can remember how much fun i had when whipping my brother and his friends at this game (the battles (i sucked at the racing (gotten better though (i really need to stop talking)))) anyway this could easily substitute in for the actual song. The emotion of being free is so hard to capture in music and your remix does it better then any I've heard before.
Great job and im looking forward to hearing what you have next.
Thank You. That is almost the perfect word for what I was going for; the idea that the piece this road in the sky vibrant with color and just the feeling of awe and freedom you'd experience behind the wheel. Love it.
Thank you so much for this great review ^_^
Wow just wow
its been a long time since ive been on here but i have to say the first thing i did was look up the audio submissions of my fav artists and whose did i come across? the blending of harmony and melody to the vocals is truly a thing of beauty now while i played some of the other games you made remixes for this one has eluded me (alas never owned a gamecube).
i still have yet to find songs more beautiful then the ones you recreate in your image. very peaceful and calming but at the same time gripping and rythmic. every peace must take forever (or a very very VERY good imagination and ear) either way every piece you make not only recaptures the original feelings of the original work buts adds much more emotion.
amazing job (from one musician to another)
Thank you ^_^
The time it takes me to do a piece usually has two main factors; how much free time I have, and how inspired I am by the piece. This one I believe I completed in 48 hrs. But I literally had like all that time to work on nothing else.
But thank you for listening to my stuff! It's great getting continuing support!
